My Wish

I wish beauty to come from innocence,
spawning forgiveness, with a certainty of intent.
I wish for no memory of fault or flaw.
to only derive motivation from visualizing possibilities,
an acknowledgment of what’s wrong
and a willingness to uncompromising change.
I wish for openness to explore new ideas,
and a spirituality that transcends self.
I wish for humbleness,
to accept ignorance and impaired judgments and excitement to learn.
I wish that strength equates compassion.
and in all of this,
I wish for tireless energy to make a difference.
